Charlie Baldwin

Horse and Rider Sports Massage

Please give a warm welcome to Charlie from Horse and Rider Sports Massage!

You will now find Charlie of Horse and Rider Sports Massage based at Georgia Stark Osteopathy (Unit 3, The Cookhouse, Suffolk Food Hall, Wherstead, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP9 2AB) every Friday, and one Saturday per month, from November 2025!

Charlie is a highly skilled and experienced remedial massage therapist, with specific expertise in sports massage techniques, myofascial release and scar therapy. Charlie also has multiple certifications in equine sports massage and body work techniques, and often works collaboratively with both horses and riders, encouraging harmonious partnerships that can unlock mutual potential.

Passionate about holistic well-being, Charlie focuses on empowering clients to address pain, discomfort, and performance challenges – not just for their horses, but for themselves as riders too. She champions the often-overlooked truth that ‘riders are integral to the horse-rider partnership’ and, therefore, their own musculoskeletal health is vital. A supple, flexible, stable, and aligned body isn't just beneficial for riders – it's essential for nurturing a thriving connection with their equine partners.

If you'd like to embark on a journey to reduce pain and discomfort, enhance your posture and symmetry, boost body awareness, improve balance, and build confidence – both in and out of the saddle, then book an appointment directly with Charlie now using the following details!

Treatment Table

Please give a warm welcome to Laura from Treatment Table!

You will now find Laura of Treatment Table at Georgia Stark Osteopathy (Unit 3, The Cookhouse, Suffolk Food Hall, Wherstead, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP9 2AB) on alternate Tuesdays and every Thursday from March 2026!

Laura specialises in light touch treatments that support the body’s natural ability to relax and recover. Laura is trained in several variations of Bowen Technique that are designed to support the body to relax, rebalance, and recover from illness and injury. This light touch approach enables the body to reset, and it assists in better connection to the parasympathetic nervous system, our ‘rest’ system. This method of treatment is particularly affective for those with auto immune and chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, long covid, and ME/chronic fatigue syndrome, as well as supporting those whose bodies operate in states of high stress or anxiety, making it hard to switch off.

Laura is also passionate about utilising a holistic approach to readying the body for surgery, and rebalancing the body and mind after surgery, injury or trauma. This has led her to complete qualifications in Scar Therapy and scar management; including working with those under oncology care.

Prior to training as a therapist in 2017, Laura worked in education, specialising in supporting children and young people with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH barriers to learning. Laura welcomes children and young people into her clinic, as well as adults.

If you are looking for a gentle way to support your physical and mental wellbeing, support recovery from illness or injury, manage chronic pain or conditions, or you are about to embark on a journey involving surgery, contact Laura directly using the details below to find out more or to book an appointment!
