Georgia Stark
Suffolk Osteopath
I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy in 2020, secured my Post Graduate Certificate in Animal Osteopathy in 2022 from the Osteopathic Centre for Animals in Oxford and completed my Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage in 2019.
Since graduating, and before setting up my practice at the Suffolk Food Hall, I worked at two different clinics in the local Suffolk area treating adult and paediatric patients. I have also been treating equine and canine patients since 2022.
The move to the Suffolk Food Hall continues to be a really exciting adventure and one that I hope will last for a long time to come. I have lived in Suffolk all my life and I knew that coming back to work here, after being away for university, was the only plan for me! Being able to surround myself, and my patients, with a clinic location like this is an amazing position to be in!
Georgia Stark
Human and Animal Osteopath in Suffolk
My particular clinical interests are in the treatment of headaches and lower back pain as well as injuries to the foot, ankle, and shoulder and paediatric cases. Regarding animal patients, my main interests are strains induced by working roles and general maintenance treatments, especially for our older pets! I will always remain of the opinion that, in the absence of pathology, your body should keep up with you, and not the other way around!
Outside of work I play netball for a local Suffolk team, since 2021 I have been learning to ski, and enjoy cycling and walking with my family. I have previously competed in hockey, gymnastics, judo and dance, so I definitely appreciate how important it is to keep your body moving in order to do what you love. This also extends to the importance of keeping you working and comfortable in you day to day activities, outside of sports/leisure!
